Stardew Valley: reached 15 million sold units

At the tranquil farm adventure Stardew Valley (from 13.99 € at buy) are rooting again the records. A shortage of young farmers does not seem to be in sight five years after the release of the PC original. As PCgamer.com reported, Eric Concernedape Barone has now cracked the trademark of 15 million units sold with its success title (not broken down by platforms).

Only in January 2020 with 10 million sales was achieved the last crowd-effective number. Actually, Barone only wanted to implement his personal vision of the genre, which once started by Harvest Moon. However, some players seem to share his idea that the developer delivered sustainable updates like a multiplayer. Meanwhile, he wanted to put his focus on his next game (also a pixel style title with another principle), as Barone to Eurogamer.net on the edge of an E-Sports tournament to the game. Whether there will be another update to Stardew Valley, he can not say yet.
